We are a semi-retired professional couple with a passion for dogs. When we rehomed our current dog, Honey in 2019, we faced challenges finding suitable care for her during our travels abroad. Kennels were not an option for us as she is used to her home comforts and companionship. This experience inspired us to help like-minded dog owners seeking a genuine home-from-home environment for their beloved pets. The seed for Hunsbury Dog Services was planted.
Hunsbury Dog Services was born in 2024. We’re council licensed, have public liability insurance and are dog first aid trained. We live in a five-bed detached home in East Hunsbury with a large, secure garden laid to lawn and patio, with ample parking for drop off/collection.
To give your dog the care & attention they deserve we choose to limit doggy guests to a maximum of four at a time. Any size of dog is welcome. Your dog/s may be boarding with another dog/s so must be non-aggressive and non-reactive. We do not board bitches in season or dogs under 12 months of age. Our primary concern is the safety and wellbeing of your dog.
Photos and videos are sent regularly to reassure you how happy and well cared for they are and give you peace of mind. Their holiday will be as good as yours if not better.
Our client base has grown rapidly through word of mouth by satisfied clients with many dogs happily returning time and time again. Our aim is that your dog will arrive as a guest and leave as family.
